Job title: Enhanced Inclusion & Learning Practitioner Contract: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time plus 5 days Salary Scale: Scale 2 , Pts 3-4 (£24,796 - £25,185) FTE , £18,546 - £18,837 Actual Salary Interview date: Wednesday, 24th June 2026 Start date: September 2026 What does an Enhanced Inclusion & Learning Practitioner do? This isn’t your average support role. Your role is about more than just academic help; it is about building a secure, trusting relationship that empowers the children. As an Enhanced Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with our Enhanced Provision Teacher and external professionals to provide deeply tailored, meaningful support for pupils with communication, interaction, cognition, and learning needs. You will be the bridge that helps these bright young minds access the curriculum, build emotional resilience, and ensure their individual EHCP targets are met. Key Responsibilities: To work in our Mainstream SEND Hubs. To develop students’ independence, emotional resilience, and social skills, while supporting them in achieving their individual targets. Implementing planned learning activities, observing achievements, and maintaining records to monitor progress and inform assessment. Assisting with personal care programmes—including hygiene, toileting, eating, and drinking—to encourage independence and dignity.
