Job title: Senior Enhanced Inclusion & Learning Practitioner Contract: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time plus 5 days Salary Scale:Scale 3 , Pts 5-6 (£25,583 - £25,989) FTE,£19,135 - £19,438 Actual Salary Interview date: Wednesday, 24th June 2026 Start date: September 2026 What does a Senior Enhanced Inclusion & Learning Practitioner do? This is an exciting, elevated opportunity within our newly designed Mainstream SEND Hub. As a senior practitioner, you will do more than support—you will provide key leadership within the provision, learning sessions, mentoring colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of inclusive practice across the provision and wider school.. Working closely with the Enhanced Provision Teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff and external professionals, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, adaptive support that ensures pupils with communication, interaction, cognition, and learning needs feel safe, included, and successful. Key Responsibilities: To work in our Mainstream SEND Hubs. To develop students’ independence, emotional resilience, and social skills, while supporting them in achieving their individual targets. Delivering interventions and planned learning activities, observing achievements, and maintaining records to monitor progress and inform assessment. Leading small-group or whole-class sessions, working within an educational environment; Mentoring or supporting colleagues Assisting with personal care programmes—including hygiene, toileting, eating, and drinking—to encourage independence and dignity.
