Part of AIM Federation  Tel: 01263 720401  Web: http://www.aimfederation.org   Email: s.wilkinson@aimfederation.org   Salary: Scale D - Β£13.47 to 13.68 per hour Fixed Term to 31st August 2027 in the first instance  Part-time  32.50 hours per week  Term Time + 1 week  Required for an immediate start    We are looking for an excellent and experienced teaching assistant to join our school with an immediate start, with potential for some HLTA cover for the right candidate.   Just over 30 minutes of picturesque driving from Norwich and Great Yarmouth (travelling in the opposite direction to most cars!) is AIM Federation - an established federation of six schools and an SEMH Base located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.     Not only will you be joining a dedicated and hardworking team at Freethorpe Primary, you’ll be collaborating with a wider team of around 130 staff in total, across the six schools, working together and striving to deliver the very best education for our local communities.     We are looking for candidates who;  Have a Level 2 qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent (essential)  Have experience working with Key Stage 1/2 children.  Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour  Good mathematical and English skills  Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff  Are able to support the children within the class and during break times.  Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children  Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour  Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team  Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary  A very good sense of humour!    How to apply  To download an application form, please click the β€˜Apply for job’ button,  Completed application forms should be returned via email to Sam Wilkinson Operations Manager – operationsmanager@aimfederation.org      Closing Date: 8 June 2026 by 9am   Interview Date: w/c tbc     We have the right to close the application window and interview suitably qualified candidates before the closing date.     AIM Federation are committed to safeguarding children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
