We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our dedicated team at Ashbrook Junior School. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teachers and support staff to help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed. The Role As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will: Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum through planned activities and interventions Work with individuals and small groups to help children access learning and achieve their potential Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development Help maintain a safe, caring and inclusive environment Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, carers and external professionals Support children with additional needs, including personal and intimate care where required Accompany pupils on educational visits and school activities We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has experience of working with primary-aged children Is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic Has excellent communication and teamwork skills Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Has a good understanding of behaviour management and inclusive practice Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school We Can Offer: A welcoming and supportive school community Friendly and dedicated staff Opportunities for professional development and training A rewarding role where you can make a real difference to children’s lives The opportunity to work within Transform Trust Ashbrook Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
