Cover Supervisor

Central Walker Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join their school, supporting pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2.

We are looking for a colleagues who can inspire and influence and has; The ability to effectively supervise and educate whole classes across Key Stages 1 and 2 during the short term absence of the teachers. An understanding of how young people learn, including a an awareness of the National Curriculum, effective teaching principles, and assessment strategies. The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons clearly and enthusiastically, ensuring pupils understand the tasks set. Effective classroom and behaviour management skills. An ability to work well as part of a team, committed to the wellbeing and care of all children.
