About the role

Hours: 8.75 per week (Monday to Friday 11:50am - 1:35pm each day), 38 weeks per year, term time only plus twice termly meetings of 1.5 hours, further details can be found in the attached job description. Salary: Grade 1c SCP 3 Willow Dene is a large special school in Plumstead for children aged 2-19 across two sites. This partnership provides immense opportunities to develop the quality of provision and outcomes, and the sharing of good practice. We are a research-engaged community and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways of developing teaching for learning. You will be required to support children over the lunch and playtime periods. You will be actively involved in helping children to eat, providing all aspects of personal and intimate care and in supporting children to develop play and social skills. Induction programmes and training will be provided for the successful candidate. Willow Dene is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced DBS check being completed. This post is also subject to a satisfactory probationary period and medical clearance.
