About the role

As Trust Lead Practitioner for Mathematics, you will play a key role in raising the standards of teaching and learning in mathematics. You will work closely with the Director of Maths, Heads of Departments and the School Improvement Team to develop and implement strategies that improve student outcomes and support professional development within mathematics. This post will be predominately based in our Sunderland Secondary Academies, at either Academy 360 or Oxclose Community Academy, with opportunities to work across other academies in the Trust. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced educator who is passionate about mathematics education and is capable of influencing and contributing to the strategic development of the subject across the Trust. This is an exciting time to join our growing LST Maths team and make a difference to children’s lives.
