Caretaker

St Michael’s Catholic Academy is a popular school situated in Billingham. We are looking to recruit a fulltime caretaker to join our existing team of site staff and work under the direction of the Site Manager. Duties will include: General building maintenance and repairs Security of the school’s premises and grounds To undertake general portage duties To ensure that the premises are open for use as and when required in accordance with the needs of the Academy and securing the premises after use Responsibility for supervising outside agencies/contractors whilst on site Moving furniture and equipment around the school premises Bus bay duty on an afternoon when school finishes to ensure the safety of students Driving the school mini-bus when required. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
