Location: Cromwell Community College, Chatteris Contract: Part time, Permanent Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year Salary: ALT Grade E £20,057.39 - £20,868.28 Annually (Actual) We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join Cromwell Community College, a large and inclusive secondary school serving its local community in Cambridgeshire. This role plays a vital part in ensuring continuity of learning, supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining positive behaviour and creating a focused environment where pupils can succeed. Working closely with teaching and support staff, the Cover Supervisor contributes to the rhythm of school life, from classroom supervision to breaktime support. Summary of Key Responsibilities Supervise pre-prepared lessons, ensuring pupils remain on task and learning continues in teachers’ absence Manage pupil behaviour and maintain a safe, orderly classroom environment Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress, behaviour and any issues arising Prepare and clear learning environments, ensuring resources are ready and used effectively Support wider school supervision, including exams, breaktimes and educational visits as required Why Join Our Trust?
