Class Teacher - Mayfield School - Part Time

Mayfield Special School educates pupils with SLD, PMLD and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The school is operational on three sites which are 12 miles apart. We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our teaching team at Mayfield School in Torquay. We are currently recruiting to a Part Time position for 2 days a week to work with our pupils with Severe Learning Disabilities. This may be in our Primary or Secondary department dependent on the skills of the successful applicant. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: high expectations of achievement, a vibrant and creative approach to learning, commitment to excellence and outstanding outcomes in both academic and emotional and social development and an ability to develop positive relationships with the children.
