About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available at our state of the art school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for reading. Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. We recognise the valuable role that reading plays in education and employment. To support this, we are looking for a suitable candidate to work with our pupils to develop their reading skills. The successful candidate must have: The ability to lead reading lessons, The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a developing team, A passion for reading that drives them to help pupils achieve their very best An understanding of the importance of inclusion, equality and diversity, both when working with pupils and with colleagues, and to promote equal opportunities for all.
