Salary: Unqualified Teachers Pay Scale (UNQ) / Qualified Teachers Pay Scale: Main Pay Scale (MPS) This role is on casual contract with variable hours. You may work up to 3 hours per week and work pattern can be discussed at interview. This role is deployable trust-wide, but it is intended to be based at Cromer Academy, Norwich Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 0EX at the outset. Inspiration Trust are seeking to appoint a Visiting Music Teacher with a Woodwind specialism to support the music department at Cromer Academy. If you are an excellent teacher, who is passionate about education and are excited about continuing to develop your practice, then we want to hear from you. The successful applicant will plan and deliver high-quality instrumental/vocal teaching within your designated school and will facilitate co-curricular musical opportunities. While most teaching will take place during school hours, some work will be required out of school hours, most notably for rehearsals, performances and exams. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate music teacher, with a proven track record in achieving strong outcomes, to have a significant impact. This role presents an opportunity to work with nationally recognised practitioners and access high quality CPD. The trust seeks applications from experienced, specialist teachers of woodwind instruments. The successful applicant will be experienced in teaching flute, clarinet and saxophone as a minimum expectation. Experience teaching double reeds would be and advantage but is not a pre-requiste. The ability to play and teach a second instrument to a high standard would be beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.
