About you — the ideal candidate You will be someone who combines strong financial skills with integrity, initiative and a collaborative approach. We are looking for a candidate who can confidently balance day‑to‑day tasks with strategic thinking. You will ideally have: A relevant financial qualification (e.g. AAT Level 3 or equivalent experience) and GCSEs in English and Maths. Proven experience of budgeting, financial reporting, payroll management and use of financial systems and spreadsheets. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to present financial information clearly to non‑finance colleagues and governors. Strong organisational skills, IT capability and the ability to manage competing priorities. A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and safer recruitment. Experience of working with Local Authority procedures, audits, procurement or school systems is desirable but not essential.
