Proposed start date: 13th July 2026 Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's education? The Priory Learning Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful team at Castle Batch Primary School Academy.
You will be working closely with a Key Stage 1 pupil, delivering a tailored and differentiated curriculum that helps them engage with learning and connect with their peers. Experience supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs is highly desirable. If you are patient, adaptive, and ready to inspire, we would love to hear from you!
As part of this role, you will
Work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure learning targets are achieved and the child is supported to achieve their best in the school environment.
Develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum promoting classroom engagement.
Promote wellbeing by encouraging them to develop good relationships with others, develop their self-reliance and self-esteem and help them adjust to new settings.
About you
You will be someone who will have:
Excellent and effective communication skills.
A good standard of education/ three or more GCSEs including maths and English at Grade C minimum or L2 literacy and numeracy.
Some experience of working with children with SEMH needs.
Some experience of working with children with Social Communication needs.
An ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the children.
