About the role

We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher, to join our dedicated and hard-working teams of staff. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who wants to contribute to the wider life of our village schools. Standlake and Stanton Harcourt Primary Schools work closely together and will be led by an Executive Headteacher in September 2026. They are both part of the EPA Trust. We are looking for the right candidate to join our team and teach either a KS1 or a KS2 class for 2 days a week, to release: a newly apointed Assistant Headteacher for one day a week at either Stanton Harcourt or Standlake Primary (appointment to be made after half term) the EPA Trust Strategic English lead for one day a week. (KS1 class at Stanton Harcourt Primary) Please note that applications will be reviewed as received and should a suitable candidate be identified, we may close the vacancy early. Our ideal candidate will be: An excellent class teacher who loves working with children and inspires them to achieve high standards and realise their potential. A great team player who can work successfully in collaboration with others and contribute towards the school's ethos and school improvement activities An outstanding, enthusiastic, forward thinking teacher who has a sense of humour and communicates well within a team. Have the highest expectations for all pupils, to ensure they reach their full potential. Are innovative and creative in delivering outstanding lessons within an extremely positive and stimulating learning environment. Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children. Knowledgeable about current topics in education and a good understanding of how children learn effectively.
