TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 with SNA Johnson Fold Primary School Employer: BASE Academy Trust Location: Johnson Fold Primary School Address: Worston Avenue, Bolton BL1 5UG Hours: 34 Hours Term time plus 5 days Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31.08.2027 (with a potential view to extend) Salary: Grade D (SCP 6-11) with SNA of 32.5hrs Required to start ASAP We are a vibrant and forward looking school seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to provide support for pupils with ASD and ADHD. The successful candidate will have a positive nurturing approach working with children who have emotional and behavioural differences and challenging behaviour Essential requirements: Previous experience of working with children with EBD and challenging behaviour Experience of working with children who have SEN throughout the primary school range A caring and professional attitude with an ability to work well within a team Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to learn A calm and nurturing personality An understanding of the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Desirable: An EBD qualification Paediatric First Aid qualification Visits to the school prior to submitting an application are actively encouraged and warmly welcomed, please contact the school office to make an appointment.
