A welcoming, supportive team committed to staff development A positive and inclusive school culture built on strong values Opportunities to develop your skills in teaching and learning A school that values work-life balance A vibrant community school close to Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty What You’ll Be Doing Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers Delivering pre-set work and ensuring a purposeful learning environment Managing pupil behaviour in line with school policies Supporting pupils’ learning and responding to their individual needs Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and conduct Contributing to the wider life of the school, including supervision duties What We’re Looking For Experience of working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting Strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE or equivalent) NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Our Vision Learners at the heart of all we do.
