seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PMLD Teacher to join our dedicated

The Role
As a PMLD
Teacher, you will:
Deliver high‑quality,
personalised learning for pupils with profound and complex needs
Plan and adapt learning to meet
individual EHCP outcomes
Use a range of sensory,
engagement‑based and communication approaches
Create a safe, calm and highly
structured learning environment
Work closely with Learning
Support Assistants and therapists to deliver consistent support
Promote pupils’ communication,
independence, emotional regulation and wellbeing
Build positive and trusting
relationships with pupils, families and multi‑agency professionals
We Are Looking
For Someone Who:
Is a qualified teacher
(primary or secondary) with a strong interest in SEND and PMLD
Demonstrates excellent classroom
practice and adaptability
Has a good understanding of sensory
learning, communication strategies and promoting positive well-being
Works effectively as part of a
multi‑disciplinary team
Is reflective, resilient and
committed to inclusive practice
Shares our commitment to
safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Experience of
working in a special school or pupils with PMLD is desirable.
