About the role

SENDCo Coppice is seeking a passionate and highly knowledgeable SENCo to play a vital role in shaping outstanding SEND provision. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape whole‑school approaches to SEN, behaviour and curriculum access, working closely with colleagues, families, and external agencies to secure the very best outcomes for our students. Coppice is a successful and expanding school which is part of Central Learning Partnership Trust. The Trust is thriving and proudly encompasses sixteen schools across all phases, both mainstream and special, located in the vibrant communities of Wolverhampton, Rotherham, and Worcestershire. We are looking for someone who: Has an understanding of the diverse learning and social needs of children. Holds an appropriate SENCo qualification A proven record of good or outstanding teaching practice. An excellent, efficient and emotionally intelligent communicator. Sound working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. The ideal candidate will be: A committed SENDCo who can inspire and lead a team, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. A successful SENDCo who is confident working collaboratively with parents and contributing to whole-school improvement. An effective SENDCo who also plays a vital role in staff training and development, ensuring all teachers feel equipped to support SEN students.
