The Role
We are seeking to appoint outstanding, highly motivated, and
enthusiastic KS2 Class Teachers to join our
Key Stage 2 team. This is a temporary, full-time position beginning 1st
September 2026 to cover a maternity leave.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich,
creative curriculum that inspires children, builds their independence, and
prepares them confidently for their final year of primary school for the next
stage in their development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver
engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Assess, track, and report
on pupilsβ progress, adapting teaching to support and challenge all
learners.
Maintain a positive,
well-managed, and inspiring classroom environment.
Foster strong partnerships
with parents, carers, and external support staff.
Contribute actively to the
wider school community and participate in staff meetings and professional
development.
What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher
Status (QTS) is essential. Applications from both Early Career
Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome.
Proven experience teaching
within Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5 or Year 6).
High expectations for
pupil achievement, progress, and behaviour.
A collaborative team
player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to
safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
