We are looking to appoint an
outstanding Teacher of IT/Business Studies to join a dedicated friendly and
successful team of specialist Teachers.
We have an OFSTED rating of good and outstanding (OFSTED Nov 2024). Ofsted commented on the personalised
education and innovative curriculum, the calm atmosphere and well-behaved
students who are highly respectful and have positive attitudes to
learning. Staff training, support and
welfare was seen to be exceptional.

IT/Computer Science is taught
at KS3 and KS4. Business Studies is
taught at KS4. The department also offers
GCSE Computer Science and OCR Cambridge National Information Technologies. The department is very forward thinking and
continually looks for courses that are relevant to our students. We currently
have over 400 students taking one of our KS4 courses as an option.
The successful candidate will
have excellent up to date subject knowledge including general ICT skills. In addition, they must be prepared to teach a
variety of different courses across the department including both Business and IT. They will need to be able to work as part of
a dynamic and forward-thinking team and play a proactive role in the further
development of the department.
This post would suit an ECT or
experienced Teacher with a passion for these subject. We comprehensively support all new staff and
have tailored programs for ECT’s, staff returning to the profession and those
seeking a career change. The College is
