About the role

Full- Time Class Teacher (1:1 Support) - Fixed Term Contract (1 year) Salary - SWAN 1 to SWAN 3 (Β£34,398 to Β£36,373) Start date - 1st September 2026 Kingfield Primary School are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Class Teacher to provide 1:1 support for a  child with additional needs.  This is a full time teaching position focused on delivering tailored learning and support to help the child be the best they can be both academically and socially. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised learning experiences, ensuring the child remains engaged and continues to make progress.  While much of the support will take place outside the classroom environment, the child will also be supported to participate in wider class activities where appropriate. Our School: Kingfield Primary School is a welcoming one form entry primary school, educating children from Nursery to Year 6. We are a popular, oversubscribed school with strong community links and a reputation for high standards and care. Support the child both within and outside the classroom environment Foster a positive, nurturing relationship to support emotional and social development Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to ensure consistent support Monitor and assess progress, adapting strategies as required The Ideal Candidate will: Have a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs Be adaptable, patient and committed to inclusive practice Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to plan engaging, tailored learning experiences Be proactive in identifying and responding to the child's individual needs The successful candidate could make a meaningful difference in the child's educational journey.
