Temporary Foundation Stage 1 Teacher (Nursery)

Heather Garth Primary Academy is a welcoming, inclusive

primary school seeking to appoint an enthusiastic NQT and dedicated Foundation

Stage 1 Teacher to join our Early Years team on a temporary basis. There may be an opportunity for the post to

become permanent, subject to staffing needs and funding.

We are looking for a passionate practitioner who understands

the importance of early childhood education and can provide a nurturing,

stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to

learn. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive staff

team committed to high-quality teaching, play-based learning, and strong

partnerships with families. We are looking for someone who:

Has

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has

experience or strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

(EYFS) Framework

Demonstrates

excellent classroom practice in early years education

Creates

engaging, inclusive learning environments

Has

high expectations for behaviour, learning, and wellbeing

Works

effectively as part of a team

Builds

positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
