development Confident in EYFS/KS1
curriculum content, with a strong understanding of early childhood development
and how young children learn Skilled in planning engaging

and creating a calm, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment Empathetic, patient, and
responsive to individual needs, building strong and trusting relationships Reflective and observant, able
to identify misconceptions and provide clear, purposeful feedback Passionate about outdoor
learning and its positive impact on children’s development Able to promote high-quality
oracy and confident communication across the curriculum Adaptable, creative, and
proactive in supporting learning in a variety of ways Collaborative and confident
working with a range of support staff, contributing positively to a strong team
ethos Committed to ongoing
professional development and continually improving practice Experienced, with a minimum of
two years’ teaching experience within the Early Years phase Knowledgeable about the EYFS
framework and skilled in applying it effectively in daily teaching Skilled in designing and
managing a classroom environment that uses high-quality continuous provision,
ensuring it supports teaching, learning, and the effective delivery of the
